The affinity bias house and semi-career break place
Pros
+ exceptionally high salaries (but very biased by company of origin and nationality) + you can live in Bangkok and enjoy your personal time while putting your career in pause
Cons
- extremely rude, aggressive and top-down leadership, if you are not at their level nor from their preferred nationality, your opinion doesn't count and they'll let you know very aggressively - DIB is just marketing, in reality it's very biased by nationality. Professionals from Asian countries can make it to junior individual contributor positions, but they only want westerners for management, and people from their identical background for leadership (mostly Israel, or maybe American or Russian) - low career growth opportunities - they don't care about contributions and outputs, only who spends more time sitting on the chair - very transactional work without added value - you can be asked to do things against your values (like rejecting someone based on nationality or religious beliefs ) - not inclusive, in many meetings they often switch from English to Hebrew or Russian - nepotism and favoritism, untalented people who are submissive and only try to please leaders against company best interest , can make it much further in the company - you are asked to keep a low profile and do the bare minimum so you don't eclipse your manager - no investment on people's growth
