A Facade of Care, Toxic Corporate Culture

Pros

Some genuinely kind and talented coworkers. A few teams are passionate about what they do, and collaboration at the peer level can be a bright spot.

Cons

Leadership is largely disconnected from the work and uninterested in team wellbeing or outcomes. Recognition is non-existent unless you’re in a high title bracket; hierarchy dominates every interaction. Micromanagement is rampant, and toxic leaders are protected regardless of poor performance reviews or HR involvement. Nepotism is obvious and unchecked. Efficiency is undervalued; presenteeism is rewarded over actual impact. Worst of all, visa and green card sponsorships can be revoked without warning or accountability. While AdventHealth has a strong external reputation due to its clinical care, the corporate office runs like any other toxic workplace and gets to hide behind the good work done by the hospital staff.
