      Pros

      A well intentioned and positive motivation to do your work -supporting the healthcare industry for -a not-for-profit organization. many of the people working there have a kind and generous attitude towards their work and all of their facilities were very well done top of the line facilities that provided great care. Being a medical or facility employee would be a very different experience and a very positive one.

      Cons

      Leadership at the corporate level seems to be out of step with the directives given to corporate function employees. . They seemingly make choices, without reference or regard to the current working world and industry standard practices for workforce planning and management.

      Love the Work We Do!

      Pros

      Going on 15 years with Hospice. Leadership listens to and acts upon what we bring to the table. Appreciate the benefits we receive. Flexibility in work schedule. Team members are more like family and managers are easy to talk to. Although we deal with patients dying on a daily basis, everyone is supportive and it is a fun place to work. The work we do is special, and being able to enter a family's home and life during this time is an honor. We're always striving to see where we may improve this experience. There isn't anywhere else I'd rather work.

      Cons

      It takes a special person to work here. You must be compassionate, empathetic and honor the end of life with dignity...it's not for everyone. There are many rules and regulations we are guided by, which you must adhere to. Detailed documentation is key when working with patients.
