Oh god, where do I even start?
Well first off, the salary SUCKS. Don't be fooled about their ads that say 60,000 per month. The highest you'd earn here is 25,000 a month, and that's working 9 hours for 7 days a week. I got Php 95 per hour and some of my coworkers got lower than that. If you compute that per month that would be below minimum wage already. They would also not allow you to work full time during your first few weeks or months, even when you specifically applied for a full time job. The training is also not paid, so you're going to waste what, 2 or 3 months not having any income? And if that's not enough to put you off, they also have a bunch of UNREASONABLE PENALTIES. Even in times of natural disaster (e.g. earthquakes, typhoons, etc), technical problems (e.g. loss of internet connection, power outage, laptop/pc malfunction, etc.), and other emergencies (sickness, attending to a more important event, tending to a family member in a hospital, etc.) they are NOT going to consider these as valid reasons. There's just no way to avoid these penalties. For such a low-paying job, they have the nerve to be demanding.
Still not convinced? Well here goes the worst thing about this company--the MANAGEMENT. They have one of the worst tutor managers in the planet--tutor managers that will look for the slightest mistake to get you in trouble and get you many deductions from your already low salary. Their TMs also reply soooo late, some don't even reply AT ALL. Good luck trying to contact your manager when you need urgent help because they're never available for you. They are like leeches, they will suck the life out of you. They will pin the blame on you even when it's their fault. Also, the parents will complain about ANYTHING and of course, the management will side with them because they're from the same country. They're also racist as hell, so if you're not white, well... good luck getting a fair salary. Oh, their QAs are also the worst. Even when you obviously did well on your demo training, they will look for loopholes just so they would have the reason to give you an unfairly low score.
Want more? No breaks, no benefits, no incentives, no OT, and when you get fully booked with classes, you will only have less than 5 minutes to finish your class remarks. What if you don't finish them on time? Like what I said, they will do anything and everything to give you deductions on your salary.
Don't believe all the positive reviews you see here. This is definitely NOT a pro-employee company. They are obviously made by their Chinese TMs/QAs or whoever employee they have there in China. You can see that by the wrong spelling and grammar structure that those reviews have. Think about it this way--why would someone bother writing an incredibly long rant/review about how bad this company is? Only when it's actually honest and true.
Don't be fooled by their salary offers too. Be kind to yourself and go apply for a job somewhere else. Your hard work and talent will be more appreciated in other companies.
