Pros

Good for experience Fellow tutors are friendly POSSIBLE big bonuses, but unlikely.

Cons

Ridiculously large penalties for missing or being late to a class. No safety net/proper support for tutors, students can literally book your classes anytime. Have to use clunky software. Students are hit or miss on whether they're nice or not. Penalties also apply for complaints, and any class rating lower than 3 stars is counted as a complaint Pay by nationality EXTREMELY difficult to work up the teacher ranks because you lose 100x the points you earn from completing a class by being absent even if it's for a valid and verified reason. NO. BREAKS. If you have to go to the hospital, prepare for penalties. Extremely unresponsive or outright rude TMs and CS. Horrible work hours, and you're not allowed breaks for any reason. No eating during these hours too, and you have to keep refreshing your page to see if you got booked for a class.

WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD EVER

Pros

There is not a single nice word I could say about the company.

Cons

The management is rude and unresponsive. They will NEVER solve a problem even with all the evidence because they DO NOT care. The CS department and the TMs are the worst - they lie, they steal money from you, they will NEVER EVER answer when you need help. I do not understand the purpose of CSs and TMs in the company. None of them are good at their jobs nor are they qualified for the work they do. Their written English is a complete disaster. Half of the time you won't understand them at all! And trust me, you do not want to call them asking for an explanation. You'll regret it. Their spoken English is a whole another issue they have to deal with seriously. Now they stopped paying cancelled classes and started reducing teacher's salaries and blackmailing them. Do trials and keep your salary OR don't do trials and accept up to 8$ per hour!!! You know, they have all these tests for teachers from people who have never been teachers and who do not know anything about teaching! It is ridiculous! They basically need trained monkeys, not teachers. They should book some classes for CSs and TMs - it would be a good investment.

Pros

No qualification needed to apply as long as you can speak English well.

Cons

Unbooked class are not paid. There will be last-minute classes which means you need to be a stand-by teacher during your whole complete working hours.
