Call centre vibe
Pros
Can wear casual clothing. Opportunity to move within teams Buddy system (another employee assigned to help you transition into company that offers support and advice) Pool table City centre location Remote work available Standard working hours - 9am - 5.30pm. No extra hours
Cons
No commission Too many jobs to fill in short period of time Not owning the recruitment process. You work with recruiters based on site within client sites. They ask you for CV's. You can work with recruiters based in numerous locations and they all hound you for CV's every day. You are pulled in all directions. Too many meetings. This company would have a meeting about a meeting about a meeting. Leaves little time for recruiting and you have to do a lot of recruiting. This may have been my own team but I did see others doing so as well. Remote work was only available after 6 months. This may have changed due to the pandemic. Opportunity to be promoted to team lead (Still not a recruiter, still the same job just pays more and you tell members in your team what to do).
