Leadership Without Backbone - Better Skip AMS Job Offers
Pros
-Acceptable basic pay but other RPOs provide bigger basic pay, like other reviews, maybe it's a good stepping stone in the RPO world BUT there is a 1yr non-compete. -They have a portal for learning materals -Decent Referral bonuses -Regular employee check ins
Cons
1. Politics -People are being promoted just because they’re close to managers, People becoming TLs but without strong foundation of people management. Being a high performer employee does not mean you can handle managing other people - they just end up as terrible leaders and even ultra micromanagers (you have to let them know when you're going to the restroom etc, will call you during breaks) 2. Laptops - laptops are old and refurbished. Makes you think if they will charge it to you when you leave when it isnt working well from the get go (had it replaced 2x) 3. All talk no walk - leaders talk about DEI & Mental health care in the workplace but they rarely show this in action. 4. Really bad HR Service - They take so long to process document requests i.e. CoE. They can give you a 1-day notice termination / non continuance of contract even after the 180 days stipulated in the PH Law wherein you should be deemed as a regualr employee after the 6th month / 180th day period. Ofcourse, no sane & young employee will file a case against this corporate giant as it will affect their next employments. 5. Clients' demands can be toxic and team managers couldnt careless. They are so robotic.
