Other lab technicians are lovely

Cons

No paid overtime Management gossiping in the store room. Supervisors coming over to chat about there Saturday nights while one is working. Accusing you of things that never happened If your not liked by the supervisor your fired. Not given a chance. Not properly taught anything or trained in. Long long hours. Supervisors being very inappropriate at times. Cursing at others Not a nice environment to work in

Flexible hours and nothing else

Cons

Too many to list. ALS Simi Valley location is a toxic place to work. Lots of favoritism, discrimination. Some people get promoted 3 times a year, others don’t even have a chance to apply for position. Worst management. Maybe other ALS labs are ok, but not Simi.

- Many opportunities to do training, provided that you ask for it - Great management - Work can be interesting, as long as you ask for training.

Cons

- Dreadful salary for the stress and pressure that the job involves. - Stressful - Some staff are bias - Work can be very repetitive
