Pros

The people - nothing like going through joint trauma to bring people together. I've never been closer with a group of work colleagues.

Cons

Treated as a number, very replaceable. They keep you on the same machine for months and then try find out ways to get rid of you when you're body finally breaks. Not worth the pain, RSI and silicosis.

I am really sorry to hear that your experience working for ALS did not match our intention of creating a great place to work and retaining our valued employees. ALS has a comprehensive safety management system in place that includes dedicated standards that each ALS facility must adopt to protect employees who work with machinery. Risk assessments, standard operating procedures, training, monitoring against workplace exposure limits, various engineering controls, and personal protective equipment have been implemented to ensure employees handle chemicals and machinery safely. We take feedback seriously and if you would like to share more about your experience please contact the Corporate HR management team confidentially by emailing HR.Enquiries@alsglobal.com.

We understand that anonymity allows freedom of expression. Unfortunately not being able to address your concerns personally and preferably before you decided to leave it does not help us to improve. Please assist by emailing us your specific Lab and we can improve the workplace for your colleagues. HR.Enquiries@alsglobal.com
