Pros

Flexible hours, always off on Sundays unless you choose to work

Cons

Management is terrible. The payment structure is disgraceful. When I first started there, commission was 50/50, you get paid half your money when you sell a system, then the other half when it got installed. However, they decided to change it where you get nothing when you sell it, and 100% when it gets installed. Besides wondering when the customer could get it installed, you have to rely on the techs to do their job right, but they don't. They always screw something up, yet they still get paid. If they do not close out the job properly, you don't get paid. The techs also have a union to protect them, so it's not like one bad job can get them fired. You also can't choose which techs you want, so you pretty much have to pray that you get a good one. I just couldn't rely on another person getting me paid, if I did my job right, i need to get paid for it; I have nothing to do with a bad tech.

Pros

Great benefits and pay ... generally great colleagues, very nice offices and physical environment. Learned a tremendous amount about the business, my position was challenging with a lot of interaction with many departments (from customer service to finance to marketing to IT).

Cons

Where do I start ... Abusive environment created and maintained by the upper management and tolerated at lower levels. Very unprofessional in their handling of employee issues of all kinds. Expected to be available 24/7 for day jobs. Rumors and/or inferences were not investigated but rather believed and acted on by management. I saw 4 good employees fired because of false comments made by others. Very stressful and inconsistent atmosphere. When situations were taken to HR, they would go to the manager in question warning them of the 'complaint.' This set people up for a worse situation than before.

It was fun at the beginning until they implement new policies and procedures.

401K, Health and Dental Benefit, Gas Mileage, and Cellphone reimbursement.

Cons

Other than that, you need to get yourself ready to accept an appointment as late as 9pm and it also includes Saturday.
