All management cannot be trusted, they will lie to you aboit everything and anything. A lot of secret talking they also talk about people behind there back to other engineers but never have the *@//& to say anything directly.
They advertise on job
advertisements"career ladder", this is non existent and you will be continually lied to about why you can't move up this career ladder. Your career will only move backwards at adt, you are dumbed down to use only certain types of systems that only adt use.
Sick pay advertised on jobs again as a benefit isn't really a benefit as it isn't compulsory, it's completely at your managers discretion. If he doesn't like you then you won't get any sick pay and he won't have to give you any reasoning, management never have to explain there decisions to anyone. They do have a Pa department but again they will always side with management not the engineers.
Work is hectic and completely unorganised, prepare to chase equipment for weeks, no specs or plans for jobs, log onto so many different systems and Web pages you'll have a lost of 50 passwords, they'll also have to be changed entry couple of months.
There Heath and safety zero harm policy they like to advertise is also non existent except on paper. Anything reported is never followed up by management.
The more you can do the more you are taken advantage off and used.
