Behavioral interview that touches on your background, followed up by a take-home test where you have to write an SEO friendly blog post. I was provided material and links that helped to get an idea about what the final result should be.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Wise (Singapur) in Apr 2024
Interview
interview process was fine. HR ghosted me for 1 month and come back to tell me that they are ready for the final interview because they are confirming headcount. Not sure why they can't give a response stating so. After the final interview, there is no response from the HR again since then. Despite several follow up with HR coordinator and the team, there is simply zero response. Huge red flag.

Interview
As an experienced Human Resources leader with over a decade of experience in employee relations, I was excited to apply for an Employee Relations position at Wise. Unfortunately, my experience with the recruitment process was highly disappointing and frustrating.
After applying for the position, I was promptly contacted by a recruiter who asked me to select an interview time from their calendar. However, there were no available slots. I informed the recruiter of this issue, and a week later, they updated their calendar. Yet again, there were no available slots. Despite sending a screenshot of the booked calendar and asking for additional times, I received no response for weeks.
Eventually, a different recruiter reached out to schedule the interview two weeks later. I confirmed the interview and requested an earlier date, but received no reply. Just one week before the scheduled interview, I was informed that another candidate had been selected and my interview was canceled.
As someone who has spent years advocating for employees and managing conflict, this experience was particularly disheartening. The role I applied for is responsible for managing employee relations matters and ensuring a positive employee experience—areas where Wise fell short in their treatment of me as a candidate.
To improve, I suggest Wise ensures their interview calendars are accurately maintained and promptly responds to candidate inquiries. Effective communication is crucial, especially for roles focused on employee relations.
I hope Wise takes this feedback seriously and improves their recruitment process to reflect the values they promote.
