I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Sacramento, CA) in Jun 2013
Interview
I applied online and was contacted 2 weeks later to set up a first interview. Immediately after the first interview I was set up to return for a second interview with another store manager (just to make sure I'd be a fit for the company) and after the second interview I was suppose to be scheduled for a third interview. After three days I called to see why I haven't been given the third interview date and was notified that someone with more sales experience with me had gotten the job with a "I did like you so if I get another opening I'll be sure to give you a call." So about two weeks afterwards I received a call from him (now store manager) saying that one of his associates had quit and he was still interested in me. I got the third interview and was hired after the background check cleared.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Brooklyn, NY) in Mar 2012
Interview
The interview process was pretty much standard. Questions were asked such as what was your worst interaction with a customer and how did you overcome it. What are some of your best qualities/ and worst. Why do you think you are good at retail sales.

Interview
I went through two interviews (one with the store manager, and the other with the district manager). The whole process took about one month (because of the background check). The background check was a bit over the top for a Retail Sales occupation.
