I waited 30 min before the first man called me in to interview me everybody was nice, friendly and funny explained the job in great detail . After being interviewed by the head of cashiers i was later interviewed by his manager she then asked me a couple of question [how did a deal with an angry customer. how did i follow with the procedures, availability etc]. i then was interviewed with the the store manger he just went through my answers and asked him many hours, the hourly wage etc. and then i interviewed with another who offer me the job. so interviewed with 4 people in one day and got the job starting next week :)

Question 1
when did you have to follow procedures from previous job?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sears (Cerritos, CA) in Jul 2012
Interview
Applied online, took their assessment test, passed and was prompted to schedule myself an interview online. Unfortunately there were no times available but I was still called within a week asking if I could come in to interview. When I arrived I was told to go to HR office which was very hectic and disorganized and waited a long time before they go around to interviewing me. The interview consisted of 2 1:1 back to back on that same day although I asked other trainees who were there if they got both interviews on the same day and they said no. First interview I was taken to a board and shown their expectations with opening up cards and rewards programs for the store then to a room and was asked situational questions. Second interview was in a different room and I was asked situational questions again. Overall the process was extremely easy and I received the offer the same day but they are desperate for people to gain the money back they lost due to renovations and struggle in sales. Unfortunately I really need a job and I accepted the offer but they literally said that if I didn't open up enough cards and rewards programs I would be reprimanded and my hours would be cut down to nothing! Will be looking for another job and just use this one to hold me down for a few days.
