I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Old Navy in Jan 2009
Interview
After applying online, I received a call from Old Navy asking me to come in for an in-person interview. I went into the store and spoke with one of the managers. After that, a few days later I received a call back and got a second round interview. The interview wasn't very difficult -- they just asked general questions about me and my previous sales experience. They asked a few situational questions such as what I would do if I encountered a difficult customer or if I was having issues with a coworker.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Old Navy (Toledo, OH) in Jun 2009
Interview
I had applied online for an interview at Old Navy. I got contacted by the training manager about a week after I submitted my application, and she gave me a short phone interview about why I would like the job. After the phone interview (which she said I had answered perfectly - I told her I wanted a job that I would love and enjoy being at, not a typical 9-5) she scheduled me for an actual group interview in the store which was a few days later. I arrived to the interview with about 7 other people in which we were asked a series of typical interview questions by the training manager and store manager. After the interview (which was about 30-45 min. long) and everyone left, they notified us they would call in the next few days. I didn't think I got it because I didn't receive a call until about 2 weeks later from the store manager offering me the position.
