I was referred by a friend to a senior manager. He then mentioned my interest in the position to the HR recruiter. Within two, the recruiter contacted me and asked me to submit my information in the system online and let her know when I had so she could review it. This was on a Tuesday of week 1. I had a phone interview on Thursday. This was followed by the Analytical Assessment on the following Monday. As others have said, the test is not easy and I answered all but 1. There were 10 word problems that had to be worked out, a case and a writing sample. On Thursday of the same week, I was scheduled for an in-person interview. On the following Tuesday, approx two weeks from the initial contact, I had my on-site interview. This interview was with 3 individuals. It lasted a little under 3 hours. I felt the interview went well. I guess I was wrong because the next day I received an email stating they where going to pursue other candidates.
I asked for feedback as to why I was not selected, as another poster stated, they are not allowed to provide this information. These are the exact words from the email...
"Unfortunately it is against our company policy to provide feedback on the decision making process. We are moving forward with the candidates we feel best fit our current needs for the role.
I wish you the best of luck with your job search."
The whole process was very smooth and seamless. The recruiter responded very quickly to any emails that I sent.
In my opinion, they really want someone with an extensive amount of analytical skills. I think this is why I wasn't pursed.
Best of Luck to anyone who reads this. I hope it helps!
