I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen (Virginia Beach, VA) in Apr 2021
Interview
Done remotely in response to COVID. Internal recruiter reached out and conducted an on-the-spot interview inquiring about general experience. Scheduled a remote interview with direct supervisor and depending on outcome, a follow-up panel interview with senior leadership. Hired after first initial virtual interview and received offer letter about 1-2 weeks following.

Question 1
What inspired you and what is it about Nielsen that made you apply for the membership representative position?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen (New Orleans, LA) in Dec 2022
Interview
Three interviews. The first is with the HR rep, the second is with your Market Manager, and the third is with several market managers around the country. 6 managers where invited but only 4 showed (including my market manager)
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen (Allentown, PA) in Jun 2019
Interview
There was a series of screening steps before ever being offered an interview, including an online personality test and uploading a video of myself explaining why I wanted the job. The first interview was a telephone interview with the Membership Manager I’d be working for. I don’t remember if the next step was the panel interview with his boss and a few other Membership Managers, or if I interviewed with him in person first, but I do remember the panel interview being stressful and difficult. I later learned that his boss advised against hiring me, but he chose to do it anyway.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked a lot of questions that were designed to test my sales skills. Some were like role play scenarios where a potential panelist said they don’t have time to talk right now. Others were drawing me to explain how I dealt with bad situations at previous jobs.
