I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Nielsen (New York, NY) in Nov 2012
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me in November, but I did not receive an official offer until February (that's THREE months of waiting in limbo). I had an initial phone interview with the recruiter, two weeks later I was interviewed by my would-be manager via phone, two more weeks passed and I spoke to two others on my team. Many many emails and follow-ups later, I was offered the position. They were working on restructuring the department, which is why it took so long.
