basic interview questions that most people would ask, such as describe a time where you faced a challenge, tell me about yourself, etc. Very relaxed and overall a great interview process.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at New York Life (San Antonio, TX) in May 2015
Interview
The hiring process was very professional, from the very beginning until its conclusion. The interviewer answered all of my post-interview questions and made sure everything was completely clarified. The company seemed like a great place to work for, unfortunately given that I am an international student I was not extended the position. If you are in my same situation do not waste your time as you will not be hired no matter how qualified you are, that would be my only complaint.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (New York, NY) in Nov 2014
Interview
I submitted a job application online and heard back within a week for a phone interview. After the initial phone interview I was contacted for an in office interview. I drove home from school in order to interview for the company and had a half day interview where I met with five different employees ranging from actuarial associates to directors and VPs.
