I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (Berwyn, PA) in Apr 2016
Interview
2+ week process. Informative and upfront, at least during my individual process, though I'm sure everyone perceives this period differently. Could tell the managing partner and associate he brought in were extremely passionate about the work they were doing, which honestly was very, very refreshing. Seemed to be more conversation based and whether or not a potential employee was a good fit for the company as opposed to a by the book interview process. Very unorthodox, which I found appealing. The breakdown of the pay structure was broken down detail by detail as was the meeting regarding future marketing and individual development. Overall I found to be not only an enlightening experience but also a very smooth one.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at New York Life (New York, NY)

There was not much downtime--be prepared to interact on a near-continuous basis. Some questions dealt with academics, career interest, personality, and location preferences.
