I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at New York Life (Glendale, CA) in May 2016
Interview
I received the email from NYL that asking if I am interested in the position in NYL and asking me applied online with the resume. Then I applied online. The processing only took 15-20mins after I applied. I got a phone call from NYL, and scheduled interview on 3 days later. I came to the location and waited the recuriter more than 30mins and talked only 20mins with him. Then he asked me to do the assessment and said the result will not come out until next week. Commission based salary. On the interview confirmation, he advised the parking and validation. After I completed the asssement, I asked the receptionist to do the parking validation, she said only the recuriter can do that, but she cannot contact him…what strange is it! I paid the parking $8and go. They are located in a beautiful building, people wear very professional, but their working attitude is unprofessional. Never come back
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (Dublin, OH) in Oct 2015
Interview
You have to interview 4 times before getting the job. They all take about 30 minutes to an hour. The first 3 times are with the managing partner, the 4th with the senior partner. They explain the New York life process amongst other things.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life
Interview
1st interview was just a candid conversation with the recruiter. Very relaxed and open about the process. I took a "pop" test on one of their CPUs and was told to follow up the next day. There are supposed to be 3 more interviews, with the last 2 being on the same day.
