I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (Newark, NJ) in Aug 2016
Interview
Three step interview process. The first First two are positive, and gently lead any prospective employee to believe there is a helpful and available training staff to allow the new employee to easily start off on a lucrative path. However, they slightly avoid core of job description, which is revealed in a 'practice survey' assignment that is given between the second and third (and final) interview, in which you talk to your family and friends about their insurance needs.

Interview
Met with HR and then was eventually contacted to meet with the hiring area, where I met with two people. Then returned again for a technical interview. Interview
It was a three step process, in the first you meet with a manager at a local office and they discuss what the job will entail and if it goes well, they will inform you of the next meeting. The next meeting will be with the managing director, where he will ask you similar questions. Third, after you get the necessary referrals in the one where they bring you on board.
