the Interview went well and the process was smooth. overall, the job is nice and everyone is lovely. you learn a lot so be ready. it's like other insurance sales jobs.
I applied online. I interviewed at New York Life (Tysons Corner, VA)
Interview
They didn't even care about my experience so they take anyone they can to train for the sales job. 2nd interview was more of a sales pitch for them to make you want to work there. They ask if you know a lot of people living the area and ask you to contact them to sell insurance. That was a red flag for me because they didn't even talk about my past experiences or background but just got straight to what I will be doing. Also, salary is 100% commission. Overall, interviews were easy but I dodged a red flag. Immediately withdrew my application after.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Wasn't even a proper/formal interview. The partner got straight to "I'm sure you have questions for me. Do you want to ask any?"Like, what is this. Unprofessional and unprepared.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at New York Life in Feb 2023
Interview
Interview process was really, got a chance to meet everyone in the company. Interview was three rounds and very informative about the opportunities at the company. Overall it was a really good process, and made easier by the interviewer.
