After getting through the online application, an app is downloaded and a game is played as a form of psychometric testing. After testing, there is a telephone interview with the Next recruiter. If successful, then there is the interview. Normally interviews are a half day in head office with group tasks and 1-1 interview with head of department, however, many interviews are now virtual. I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NEXT (Enderby, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
The interview process seemed very daunting at first consisting of around 5-6 stages including online assessments, online video recording, telephone call and finally an assessment center day. However the HR team, especially Shaun, were extremely helpful and polite in supporting me along the way and helped me to secure a job at Next. The trainee programme so far is very exciting and continues to provide me with new challenges.
