I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lush (Lancaster, Inglaterra) in Mar 2017
Interview
I applied for the job through submitting my CV and cover letter to their email after seeing a poster in the store window. I was then invited to a large group interview a week later, where there was around 15 of us. Firstly, we had to get with a partner and then introduce their name, age, who would play them in a movie and why, and their favourite Lush product and why. They then showed us how to demo some of the products (bath bomb, bubble bar, massage bar and scrub), and then we had to choose a product from the store and demo it to the group. Afterwards we were then briefly interviewed individually. Overall, the interview lasted around 2 and a half hours, making it feel very draining. We then heard back the same night via email, as they were doing trial shifts the next day and the day after, as they wanted new staff to start immediately.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Lush (Sídney) in Feb 2017
Interview
I was called and come in for a group interview. They said to dress casual but closed in shoes. I was also given an essential oil that I had to research.
We introduced ourselves and spoke about our favorite smell
Group Interview and we were then split into three groups.
First group was where we had to make our favourite object with FUN and then just spoke about it as well as speaking about our favorite place
Second group was where we were taught about the massage bars and then had to perform a massage using the bars and talk to the "customer" about the information we learnt.
Third Group was where two people were blindfolded and a third had no arms and had to give directions. We had to build a house out of cardboard for a toy rabbit and we only had cardboard and sticky tape. we had 1 minute to strategize and 2 minutes to build. Afterwards the person conducting the test tried to blow the house down. After it fell we swapped roles and had to rebuild it and again the person tried to blow it down.
We came back together and had to split into our essential oil group and then had to do a demonstration using a bath bomb and then talk about the oil
It was a very fun interview.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lush (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2017
Interview
I applied for the sales assistant position in oxford street sent a CV and cover letter , group interview had about 50 people then i had a trial shift they showed us around the shop floor personally i talked to every customer and engage although the store was quite empty that day i didn't want to pester customers. However i was given feedback that i had closed body language yet why was smiling and making sales , that i was talking to employees when i was getting to know there name so i could refer customers to them because it was my trial shift. I feel like they did not give me the job from a biased stand point and they didn't recognise the positives and skills set that i demonstrated.
