I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lumen (Denver, CO) in Jan 2017
Interview
Long and tedious. They don't tell you about any of the job pitfalls. You'll get hired as a "sitting duck" awaiting the firing squad. They make you aware of the expensive parking situation in downtown area $250 a month to park your car. They do offer a bus pass for $99 per month.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lumen (Saint Joseph, MO) in Apr 2018
Interview
I applied within. Took about two weeks to get hired. Was painless. Had two interviews and then got an offer. This was for a virtual Care/Sales position. I was already working for CenturyLink at the time.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lumen in Mar 2018
Interview
First round was a 15-20 minute phone screening with a recruiter.
Second/final round was an hour long Blue Jeans virtual interview with three hiring managers.
Got my offer within one business day (interviewed on a Friday and got the news on Monday).
What is your passion outside of work? Then goes over phone exercise sealing with passion. After phone exercise is done, asks what you think went well and how you can improve.
