Intuitive interview questions

The interview process at Intuitive Surgical was well-defined, easy to follow, and engaging. After submitting my initial application, the hiring manager contacted me within one week and proceeded to schedule our initial video meeting. Upon completing the first interview session, I met with four department managers in a 1:1 panel-style interview (3.5 hours; held one-week post-initial meeting). The second round of interview sessions comprised of another 1:1 panel-style meeting with six cross-functional people leaders (4.5 hours with breaks; held one-week post-second meeting). Also, this final round interview session consisted of a short presentation related to any department-specific topic of my choosing. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the interview process. The interview team was well-prepared, asked behavioral and situational questions, and fostered a positive atmosphere/experience. Kudos also to the recruiter and coordinators who were prompt to answer all of my questions!

I applied via an employee referral. The recruiter contacted me about 2 months after the online application. After a 30 min screening with the recruiter, he set up a 45 min Zoom call with the hiring manager. After the meeting with the hiring manager, the recruitment team set up panel interviews approximately 2 months later. The panel interviews were all conducted over Zoom. I was asked to give a 45 min presentation followed by 15 min of Q&A for the CDE team. I had five 45 minute interviews with various cross functional team members. Questions ranged on topics from hypothetical testing to gathering of user needs.
