I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Insight Global (Houston, TX)
Interview
Very casual interview--didn't ask any specific questions, just conversational. Took me into a small room where I waited around for a while. Ended up talking to a different person than I was told I would be talking to. Just asked about myself and wanted to see how personable I was.
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Insight Global (Tampa, FL)
Interview
Extremely simple. Sat in a room. Had one person come and ask me 3-5 questions. Gave me time to ask my own questions, which were actually answered quite well.
My only real complaint is that there was no follow-up. That obviously means I didn't get the position, but I was told that regardless of that there would be some sort of final contact. Nothing. Zip. Not from the local office or from my recruiter.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Insight Global (Baltimore, MD) in Jan 2016
Interview
Called me and emailed me multiple times until I agreed to speak with them on the phone. Told me a little about the job and that I would be taking clients out to eat and get drinks all the time. Told me I'd rarely be in the office. I set up in person interview in Baltimore. When I got there, no one was at the desk and I had to wait awkwardly for someone to take me to the interview room. I was interviewed by two people. Everyone there is under 30 and straight from college. Very sorority and fraternity feel. I was asked right away what sorority I was in. The first women didn't ask me any questions just told me what I would be doing and seemed uninterested in getting to know me. I asked a few questions and she told me to only ask personal "get to know you" questions with the next person. I asked if people stay for a long time and she told me that just like every job people leave but that I will make great money when I'm here. (Aka high turn over rate) It was about 15-20 minutes. Then another young person came in and talked about going abroad in college and how fun his job is without telling me exactly what he does. He did tell me how much money he makes here. Again, no questions about me and barely let me ask him questions. When I left, they gave me a voucher for my parking but when I went to use it the parking garage told me it doesn't work. The man said that Insight Global does this all the time and that these vouchers don't work. I had to pay a pretty high parking rate for a 30 minute "interview" and I felt that was pretty rude of them.
I have had two other friends interview with insight global the same month as me and each other said they had a similar experience!
