Interview
Applied for Web Design Internship
Applied and got a call two days later to talk to the recruiter to schedule a call with the hiring manager. The day arrives and I never got the call. The hiring manager emailed me a couple days later explaining they were swamped and we rescheduled another call. Interview was more of a get to know one another conversation (i.e tell me about yourself, what's your favorite thing to do, why do you want to work for IHG). The conversation lasted about 10 minutes. I feel like those type of interviews meant that I got it and I did (woohoo)
Other notes to know that I got the internship: The hiring manager looked into my LinkedIn profile and the recruiter called me back after my interview saying that the hiring manager really liked me which made it more comforting to know that I got it.

Interview
You take an online assessment then have an over the phone interview. Then you schedule an in person interview. As long as you don't say anything like " The customer was so stupid!" you are almost guaranteed to be hired.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you viewed a problematic situation as an opportunity
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at IHG Hotels and Resorts (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2017
Interview
Interview process was a disorganized event. Initially applied for the position online. Was contacted by a recruiter within a few days and had a great conversation about my work history. Recruiter promised to follow up within a week and I was left guessing for a month. Emails and calls to recruiter went unanswered. When IHG finally contacted me to schedule an interview, they changed the date three time. Seems as though there was corporate red tape around hiring for this position. Interview consisted of phone screen, written test, and in person panel. Overall, the process took 3 months.
