The interview process at HelloFresh was far more organized than at other Berlin companies. The recruiter I worked with, Owen, was extremely helpful throughout the process and made sure I knew just what to expect from each step.
The process itself consisted of five rounds. The first was an introductory get-to-know-you interview with Owen. Round two was a take-home writing project that I had some time to turn in (I believe 3-5 days if I remember correctly).
After passing the writing phase, I was invited to an interview with the hiring manager about my UX writing experience. Once I passed, I was invited to two more interview rounds, one with a product owner who assessed my stakeholder management skills and the last with the head of product design.
Although five rounds seemed daunting at first, I was surprised by how efficient the process was. Every interviewer along the way was kind and open, but that's not to say the questions were always a piece of cake. I believe that each step prepared me for what to expect from the position itself and the company culture.

Interview
It was the best interview experience I ever had. It was challenging, but I felt appreciated from the beginning on. I always got feedback, knew what step came next, many questions got asked to really get to know me and I was introduced to employees from different teams.
