My first experience was in Scotland with my Director at the time, Keith Mason. This interview was rigorous and demanding but gave me an insight into how tough recruitment is as an industry.
I moved back to Ireland and interviewed again with my Director here, Niall Toland and this was a little easier as I had almost 6 months experience within Hays already.

Interview
Extremely thorough interviews. First round was conducted by my current line manager who is very articulate and informative with getting across the Hays brand and what the job entails. The second round was conducted by the director who is extremely knowledgeable with over 10 years' experience in the industry starting off like myself as an Associate Recruitment Consultant. Great insight. Very friendly environment.

The Assessment centre is relatively difficult. After the company give you a short presentation about the company, you then have to complete a number of tasks. These include a telephone interview, writing a job description and picking out a candidate from a number of CVs. Do as much research on the company and be enthusiastic, but not over confident. Overall experience, good company to work for but it just wasn't for me.
