Hays is a recruitment organization - I thought it might be useful for others to understand their process.
- Applied through job board - recruiter email listed
- No call back from Hays next day after application
- Called Recruiter - could not find my resume, and verified that I had a special skillset required
- Recruiter requested I email my resume and was reviewed while on phone conversation
- Interview booked for next day
- Also sent link for Microsoft office testing - new to me for Mgr positions
- Performed miserably on the tests, and sent email to recruiter to find out if these were 'deal breakers'
- Yes they were deal breakers; Recruiter offered tutorials, postponed the meeting
- Accepted tutorials, aced testing and rescheduled interview
- Consultant was extremely warm, professional, engaging, helpful & w/o hesitation put me forward to client
