Interview
The Bridgeport CT office interview was the worst experience. After submitting an application for the store manager title, I got an email that it is for a Trainee position. 2ndly, once we setup an appointment and I confirmed it and arrived, I was told HR left because she thought it was for a different time. I called her...no response so then I emailed her saying you told me this time and now they said you were gone and forwarded the email she sent with the time. Funny, she immediately called me back and said "can I turn around and go back she will come back". 3rdly, she apologized but seemed rushed and did not seemed engaged. After the interview she setup me up in the career center to take a test and left me there. To be honest I was turned off by all this at that point.

Interview
I applied online, I got a call to come in for an interview. The interview was about 2 hours, 30 minutes talk to the interviewer the rest is testing. You test on Microsoft products and accuracy on data entry. About 2.5 weeks later they notified me that I was not their pick.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Goodwill (Sterling Park, VA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Called me in for an interview with the store manager. After asking me about my experience/work history, they asked me basic questions in order to determine my competence and leadership skills. Upon hiring I went for a drug screen and waited for the results of my background check. After all was cleared (they were VERY forgiving about my criminal history; no violent or theft charges but lots of other stuff) I attended a 6 hour orientation session explaining the business model and the way the store works. Started working the next day.
