I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Apr 2019
Interview
I applied online. I was contacted within a week via email to set up a phone interview. The phone interview occurred about a week later. The phone interview was with the hiring manager. After passing this phase, I was invited to an on-campus interview. The on-campus interview day consisted of a 90 min case study prep, one-on-one interviews with HR and various people in the hiring group, and the presentation of the case study. I have to say that the entire process was well-run and exceeded my expectations. I especially enjoyed the case study - as I felt that allowed me to show my analytical process, and the lunch with a "peer" - which allowed me to learn more about the work and groups culture. I heard back within 3 business days via phone call. Background check takes about 4 weeks and is extensive.
