Applied online and received an automated email requesting this information:
-Are you legally authorized to work in the US without regard to timing or duration?
-What was (is) your cumulative GPA in University?
-If extended an offer, would you be willing to relocate to Austin, TX?
-What date would you be available to start?
-How did you find out about this role?
-What are your salary requirements?
-What is your availability for a 15-30 minute pre-scheduled phone interview in the event that we decide to move forward (please clarify time zone of availability)?
Then there was a phone interview that took 15 minutes.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at GLG
Interview
Starts with a phone interview when you'd need to show you understand GLG business model well. Then in person interview in the office with different members of the team, followed a couple of days later by a case study (done from home). The final stage was a call/skype interview with the team global manager.
Vey interesting process at the end. Everyone I talked to was smart and friendly. No difficult behaviour questions per se, just do your homework before the interview.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GLG (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Jun 2015
Interview
1) HR round on phone
2) Face-to-face interview
3) 2 hour long case study
Firstly, I was interviewed by someone from HR on phone then my case was forwarded to the senior HR person. After the telephonic interview with senior HR person was done, there was a telephonic interview with a research manager. The next day I was called for the face-to-face interview.
It was weird that even though I reached on time and there were no candidates to interview before me, I was made to wait for almost half an hour. Then finally after long wait, I was interviewed by 2 research managers. Out of those two, one informed me that there will be a two-hour long case study after the interview. However, after the interview got over I was just made to sit in that interview room for another half an hour or so only to find out that there will be no case study because the research managers are busy. Then, I was asked to leave.
Frankly, it was an unprofessional experience so when I did not get a call from them after the interview, I also did not call back to inquire about the outcome.
