I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GLG in Apr 2015
Interview
A third-party recruiter who saw my profile on LinkedIn reached out to me and asked basic questions about my work experience relative to the role and gave me a background about GLG. The week after, I met with two of GLG's Practice Area Leaders separately for an onsite interview. I was essentially asked to elaborate what was on my resume, my knowledge of GLG, a sample case/scenario that involved a client and possible solutions I could suggest. The whole interview took 2 hours. A few days after, I was emailed a case study to work on - an investment bank with a training&development need. It was very tedious. This was designed to evaluate a candidate's capabilities in strategic thinking, resourcefulness and critical writing. Speed and accuracy are essential. Three days after, the recruiter advised me they're passing on my candidacy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do you know about GLG?
Describe a time where you've collaborated with a client with a training need.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GLG (Gurgaon, Haryana) in May 2015
Interview
Just got done with the HR interview. Next interview is scheduled for a few days later.
I got to know about the vacancy at glassdoor only so I went on GLG's website and applied. They called me after a month or so. They asked me to go on the company's website and see what kind of work the company and then asked me to call them back the other day. So next day my call transferred to some senior HR person and she asked me all the questions I have mentioned below.
I can't give a final review because i'm yet to undergo further interviews. Will post as soon as I am done with all he interviews.

Question 1
- Walk me through your resume
- What are your plans for future studies?
- How did you get to know about GLG?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at GLG in May 2015
Interview
This is probably the worst interview experience I ever had. They first sent you an email asking you to answer a list of questions:
-Are you legally authorized to work in the US without regard to timing or duration?
-What was (is) your cumulative GPA in University?
-If extended an offer, would you be willing to relocate to Austin, TX?
-What date would you be available to start?
-How did you find out about this role?
-What are your salary requirements?
-What is your availability for a 15-30 minute pre-scheduled phone interview in the event that we decide to move forward (please clarify time zone of availability)?
So then I replied to the recruiter with my answers. Then she scheduled my phone interview for a day that I was not available in my email. After rescheduling, finally on the day of actually phone interview. Got a call 30 minutes earlier than what it was scheduled in my email. (Different interviewer too!) This whole process was very disorganized and the emails I have been getting from the recruiters seem like automated emails.
