I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jul 2024
Interview
As a consultant, the recruitment process differs from that of a full-time employee. You'll be required to submit detailed information about your background and demonstrate relevant experience—particularly those aligned with the consulting role you're pursuing. To evaluate your fit, you may be asked targeted questions related to your expertise
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There are no traditional interviews. Once your consultant profile is submitted, you can apply directly to roles that match your area of expertise. Additionally, you may be recommended for roles based on your past experience and the requirements outlined in the job description.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GLG (Tokio) in Nov 2022
Interview
Very fair in describing the role. Felt they advocated for their workers. Explained where they stand currently in the market and how they are trying to expand their user base. Prioritized culture in a way other companies didn’t.

Question 1
Why do you think this would be a good role for you?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (Singapur) in Jan 2021
Interview
HR is from China, from the China office - so it actually helps if you can speak fluent Mandarin. The interview (as with most HR interviews) is to basically understand your previous experience and determine if you have the necessary skillset to succeed in the role.
Followed by a timed assessment - Excel, SQL and PowerPoint.
If you passed the assessment, you should be having an interview with the hiring manager.

Question 1
The timed assessment can be confusing at first. The message on how to proceed was a little confusing. There is no interview, no video call to supervise you, nor any software required to monitor your work. When the time came, there will be an email with instructions (plus attachment) on how to proceed with the assessment.
