A rare company that genuinely cares about its people and its products
Pros
iRobot is one of the rare companies that actually stands by its values. Employees are empowered to make their own decisions and trusted to do their jobs. People are passionate, kind, and collaborative. It is a welcoming environment where you feel comfortable asking for help or asking questions. The work-life balance is the best I've seen. Management recognizes people have lives outside of work and respect that. The culture at iRobot is open and inviting and never boring. There are plenty of employee events and fun surprises (ie: ice cream trucks, parties to celebrate milestones, etc.) It's the little things that show leadership cares about its employees and keeping them engaged and entertained.
Cons
it is undergoing a major campus renovation, but will be worth it for current employees when finished.
