Pros

The people who actually do the work and get things done are great.

Cons

Management doesn’t care Pay is terrible compared to other companies in industry and area No work life balance, expected online 24/7 Company seems to be losing focus No way to move forward and get promotions Raises and bonuses are a joke, non existent, even with record profits Ultimately iRobot proves every day that you are disposable.

Pros

Good Salary Great Work / Life Balance Fun Place to work Good career Development

Cons

Absolutely ZERO cutting-edge research.... iRobot for the past 2 years and probably for the next 5 will be focusing on cost-reduction efforts and streamlining their supply line to continue to dominate the RVC market and to compete with Chinese manufacturers that are stealing IP. From a R&D perspective, most interesting research work has stalled. If you are looking for a company that is pushing the boundaries of robotics, this is NOT the company for you. Many opportunities exist here in marketing, supply chain, and business development. The engineering team is slave to Product owners who want to cut cost and the Design team who are focused on selling products to turn profit

Pros

Casual atmosphere. Managers don't micro manage. Flexible work schedule. Interesting environment.

Cons

Management out of touch and don't pull their weight. Lower level employees do all the work and get no recognition. If there is an issue managers DO NOT give employee a chance to defend themselves. Don't trust fellow employees. Layoffs not based on job performance.
