Pros

The discount is great for managers. The product is nice. They have very cute clothing and accessories.

Cons

Inexperienced area managers and district managers. Corporate is not well established to handle the company's business needs. They do not hire qualified employees therefore it creates an unstable, inconsistent working environment. Management has no say in discipline or promotion of staff. They don't know how to deal with well experienced qualified manager's. They are use to young workers who don't care about employment. No upper management support. They give management a manual and say figure it out. The clothing are very cheap whole sale purchased. The prices actually come with shipping. Consumers are charge 70% or more than actual purchase price. Poorly run company. Salary is the lowest of any other retailers. Management are trained to offer minimum wage and no more plus only give very little hours to staff.

Pros

Visual Merchandising freedom Cool place to buy gifts for people Small store, so less to clean up at the end of the night.

Cons

Where do I even begin... For starters, the company itself has a process called the "MOS" process. In this process, employees and management are instructed to scan perfectly good merchandise (clothing, jewelry, etc) into the system, and then PHYSICALLY DESTROY IT AND THROW IT AWAY. Even when asked by MULTIPLE, MULTIPLE, MULTIPLE employees and management to consider donating the merchandise, they ignore the suggestions (mine was written off with a simple "we appreciate your feedback"), and respond in a COMPANY-WIDE memo stating in bolded letters that "we will NOT be donating this merchandise, all merchandise MUST be destroyed". This most recent MOS? Perfectly good and warm winter coats, scarves, hats, and gloves. Millions will freeze to death this winter, but Francesca's is willing to throw away perfectly warm clothing. It sickens me. Secondly, the company has no organizational skills. They will send an email out to stores at noon on a business day informing them that there are new promotions that need to be set up immediately, so we are expected to balance setting up new promotions, customer service, and any other tasks they may have sent out at the same time. The company also refuses to set aside time after hours for things like visuals, merchandising, and large shipment tasks. Most other stores I know do most of their visual/floor sets after closing or before opening, but not Francesca's! They will make you move around tables and IGNORE customers (practically) while the store is open.

Pros

Cutest clothing. Good pay. fun place to work. I usually got 25 hours a week and made 10.00 dollars an hour. The discount was thirty percent and sometimes the company went up to sixty percent for an employees. It was simply the best.

Cons

The Company is managed really poorly. Regional Manager and District managers did not have their jobs together, which made it a living hell for our boutique manager.
