      All cloud based so no need to go to office

      Cons

      No office like environment, no conference room for free. You have to pay & book a conference room at Regus locations....nothing is for free, have 80/20 split, monthly dues, transaction fees, university fee, Review fee...

      AI is Coming For Everyone's Job, Anyways

      Obviously fully remote, great people, up until recently had very employee-centric HR exec leadership team (whole branch is gone now)

      Cons

      The needle has swung way too far when it comes to automation and AI, and that's from someone who loves it all. They basically told all staff to go play with AI tools vs doing the actual work, so workflows and infrastructure are falling apart. Employees used to LOVE leadership, managers, VPs, and now there are some really weird people at those levels, all because they showed basic understanding of ChatGPT.

      Pioneer in remote work, decent benefits

      Folks, read the reviews carefully. The reason eXp has such high Glassdoor ratings is there are 80k+ agents leaving reviews, versus 1,000 (max) employees. These are not employees, they are essentially eXp’s customers. And eXp is a great place for agents! I’m not denying that. It’s a solid business modem where agents can make a lot of money. But, again, agents are not employees and should not be leaving reviews as employees. It’s no different than you, as a customer, leaving reviews for your local grocery store and commenting on their employment practices. As a former employee, things are good until they aren’t. It’s like an abusive relationship where you don’t realize how bad things are slowly getting. Work life balance is preached but is an absolute joke. The CFO’s core belief is that everyone is replaceable (for real, he said it in a podcast), and you are treated accordingly.
