Was fired right after losing 4 relatives in 3 months. The last death was an immediate family member that was very close with who killed themselves. I was broken and tried to do my best at my job but struggled to maintain a healthy positive attitude because of my depression. I was also going through biopsies and tests because my health was deteriorating. I talked to my supervisors about my struggles and that I was talking to a therapist. They said that I was being negative. Well, on my last day of work, my supervisor had another manager in charge of firing in her office. My supervisor told me that they were firing me for being negative and using too much of my pto. When I asked her why I wasn't given a warning that I was going to be fired, she said I was told I was being negative. Nowhere was a formal warning given to me and told there was a possibility of losing my job. I was literally broken again. And they wouldn't even let me say goodbye to everyone I cared about. A d what's really hurtful is they fired me a couple of days before my year anniversary.

As a new realtor, I was signed up with the “promise” of guidance and mentorship. I even signed a contract twice because I was told my first one expired, because I signed it and they did not. I fulfilled my part of the mentorship contract. I repeatedly asked the office each week for months that signed me up when am I going to get mentorship as indicated in my contract agreement, they just told me not from them. They said they had no idea and would reach out to the broker, and still nothing. After six months waiting for someone to give me some hands on experience per the agreement, I had to get a full-time job somewhere else. eXp sure doesn’t have any problem deducting $85 out of my bank account each month for nothing.
