Pros

you can make a lot of money if you don't care about the customers and have a lot of hours to work in the week.

Cons

you don't grow as a person, you are expected to sell "no matter what" and this can bring a feeling of "selling your soul" from time to time

Pros

This job is unique since you can work from home at your own times. I came for an interview to Ramat Gan and got a headset and a web cam and started receiving calls with students. Since then I haven't setpped into the office again (and there is no need). You schedule the right time to have a lesson and this really is quite comfortable as this job can be a secondary job to do whenever you feel like to - or have a need to make some extra money. The company doesn't monitor your every step, so it feels like a private tutoring only virtual through the internet. The software is really user-friendly and helps you to teach easily.

Cons

There are not enough working hours to get a reasonable salary. It took me 6 months to get enough students, as many take a try-out class and leave after one session. There are peak periods before high school exams and low season during the summer vacation. You cannot depend on this job to make ends meat. You have to contact the students on your own expenses - using your own mobile phone. The company doesn't compensate you for using your own phone. Sometimes the students don't answer and you have to contact customer service to make them get those students for you.
