Pros

eBay is a recognizable employer (I've had plenty of jobs at companies that people would stare at blankly when I named them). Most of the people are intelligent. You get free bagel days and free beverages (San Jose campus only)

Cons

eBay has become too big and too corporate. There are too many incompetent people in senior management who don't know what eBay is all about (hint, it's not always about PowerPoint decks and ROI), lip service to the corporate values and mission statement. What happened to lead completely and practice judgment? Leadership seems to be blowing with the wind rather than setting course for the company to follow.

Pros

Close to home and some of the co-workers are great. Also, the benefits are pretty good.

Cons

Management does not know what they are doing

Pros

Perks and benefits are really good. On-site gym, cafe, flexible work hours, matching 401k, RSUs, time-off benefits, sabbatical etc are quite good.

Cons

Seems like company is changing direction in a major way every 2-3 quarters. Stock is going down. Sellers are disgruntled. Executive team is constantly changing and every new person comes up with a new direction.
