Pros

Good for your resume when showing to those people know very little about adidas Taiwan and that's only thing you will get.

Cons

- they don't respect your expertise and hire people with zero knowledge of e-commerce for the team - the workload of this position should be at least 3 persons' job including e-commerce manager, CRM manager and Digital Marketing manager, but adidas Taiwan only hires one peoson to do all these work. - adidas Taiwan isn't willing to pay any money for website setup and no mention warehouse etc. So they only can hire a very local vendor with zero experience to build up the website in a global scale. It's a total disaster cuz the vendor doesn't even have basic ecommerce functions such as coupon redeem in place. - adidas Taiwan backend system can't take API so all the e-commerce data including sales, inventory, etc can't automatically sync back to the backend system. You'll have to manually key in one by one every single day. They even require you to key in data during holidays or Chinese new year cuz sales data need to be closed every day. And you don't have manpower in the team to deal with all those manual work. They will ask you to work overtime and don't pay you anything. -they don't prepare warehouse or merchandising team for e-commerce so e-commerce team needs to share (or ask a favor) goods with one physical retail store. And retail team doesn't keep e-commerce team in the loop for any promotion or campaigns. - there is extra global project for this team so it suddenly becomes to this position's job even though it's not on your JD since beginning. -HR and the company don't listen and don't take any action to fix all those problems. It's all your fault if you cant handle such heavy loading work.

Pros

Some really good people in the organization. Nice work environment, good benefits and in general a fun place to be.

Cons

HQ centered thinking from CEO and leadership. CEO focused on profit and margin and admittedly is not interested in culture. CEO that is very “old school” Bad decision making by leadership.

Pros

The product is cool. Great benefits such as 20% work from home, 28 days of vacation, flexi-time, on site gym, company sports classes and trips, and good food on campus.

Cons

Very political, and it takes a long time to create change. Also, the location of headquarters is not ideal for expats.
