Pros

After pondering for the last 20 minutes, I really can't think of anything to contribute here. I was hopeful when I started, but there have been zero pros during this experience.

Cons

Onboarding was messy and showed no respect for my time. Provisioning is broken. I am unable to do basic functions of my job due to the many levels of disfunction during onboarding and provisioning. More micro-management than I thought possible. Was promised the world and feel like the entire experience has been a bait-and-switch. The company is dominated by insecure leadership with inflated egos and need for recognition. A condescending tone is engrained in the male-dominated leadership culture of this company.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your onboarding was not up to par. Our onboarding experience is normally excellent, and we regularly receive compliments from new hires for our thoroughness and expertise. I apologize that your experience didn’t live up to our usual high standards; we aim to get 1% better every day and regularly evaluate our onboarding and provisioning practices to make sure they are top notch. If you would like to provide additional feedback on how we can improve, I encourage you to reach out to me personally or to your HR Business Partner. We welcome your thoughts! I’d like to address the topic of micro-management. As I mentioned earlier, we have very high standards for our onboarding process. It is designed to get employees up to speed and contributing to their full potential within just a few weeks of starting. As such, our managers try to be extremely visible, available, and supportive to our new hires to ensure no one is falling behind or is having any issues. It appears our managers’ intentions may have been misunderstood in this case. Finally, I am concerned to hear about potential condescending behavior or speech. Respect is central to our One Team One Dream company value, and we need to address this to make sure we are creating a safe and welcoming environment for all. I highly encourage you to reach out to your HR Business Partner if you observe this again. If you have any additional feedback that you would like to share, my door is open to you. – Jennifer Creticos, ZoomInfo Chief Human Resources Officer

Pros

I've been with the software team for a year this month, and absolutely love the direct management. Having worked with non-technical management, it's nice to have folks in charge who know what they're doing.

Cons

The CEO and upper management are completely superficial. The CEO calls for winter donations, but the highest donating office donates less than 0.1% of his estimated net worth, but he has the audacity to lecture us about donating more. ZoomInfo has seen the best quarters since it's inception in the last year, but refuses to allow new employees full time work from home, despite having all employees work from home during that time. Lastly, the CEO today issued an all-employees email, saying "Please remember, compensation (including equity) is your personal information and it is not recommended that you share that information with others. RED FLAG!!!!

Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. Our Winter Donation Drive is incredibly important to our culture, and to our CEO personally, so I wanted to take a minute to address your comments. I think it's possible you misunderstood Henry’s message; our CEO and his family match the funds we raise during the drive, so of course he wants to see our employees give as generously as possible because it increases the amount he donates! I also want to underscore that we don’t expect our employees to only dig into their own pockets. As you might have seen, our team comes up with super fun and creative ways to fundraise every year, including selling custom dog bandanas and homemade salsa. At ZoomInfo we always say we do well AND we do good. Giving back to the communities we live and work in is part of our DNA, and has been since day one. I hope you were able to experience the spirit of the Drive. With respect to your second comment, we actually have a fairly sizable percentage of permanently remote employees (in addition to the fact that about 90% of our workforce is still working fully remote due to the pandemic). This working arrangement can be granted based on the role and the team, among other factors; however, it’s untrue to state that we refuse to allow new employees to work from home – it just depends on the situation. Finally, we do recommend that employees keep personal information confidential. We consider personal information to include compensation, health information and PMI, social security number, passwords, etc. This is simply a best practice to protect you. If you have any other questions regarding these topics, you can feel free to reach out to me directly or to HRfeedback@zoominfo.com. – Alyssa Lahar, ZoomInfo Chief Human Resources Officer

Pros

nice views from the office windows. Benefits perhaps.

Cons

This place is run by inexperienced fresh outta college "professionals." The "research staff" is no more than a call center. There's little interaction w/ upper management other than company meetings where no one dare say what is on their minds. It's a soul crushing experience all in all.
