Pros

the comradery across the SDR floor, lots of bright, young people

Cons

Where to begin. Henry Schuck does not seem to value his employees at all. On Thanksgiving, he sent out a company wide email and never once expressed his gratitude for us. From day 1 the message to new reps is: "we expect you to hit your number, we EXPECT you to hit your goals". The communication is very poor from leadership to SDRs, there is conflicting information being spread all the time. No one is on the same page. The micromanagement is extreme, if you are slacking on your calls for one hour you'll be bombarded by your manager to know why. The start-up behavior creates a horrible sales culture here. In fact, one of the managers scolded one of the SDRs for smiling on camera during a meeting. Compensation is borderline poverty level in this economy. For a billion dollar company, this culture is unacceptable.

Thank you for stopping to leave a review as we always appreciate feedback. We did want to call out a couple of things. First, Henry did not send out a company-wide email on Thanksgiving. Earlier that week, he did send out an email that highlighted our weekly wins and difference makers while giving kudos for people's exceptional work. Henry knows that our greatest asset is our talented team and it's what differentiates us from our competitors. Regarding your goals, yes, you're right! The expectation for ALL of our employees is that we hit our goals. In 2023, we implemented some changes to how we track goals to make them clear and measurable. Our company and personal goals are rooted in our commitment to enhance and streamline our operational processes and promote a healthier work-life balance for our employees while focusing on excellent customer care. Regarding compensation, we pride ourselves in paying above-market for our roles and for those that hit their goals and targets, considerable incentive pay. Last week, Henry announced our company's commitment to equitable pay by signing the California Equal Pay Pledge. We are committed to conducting an annual company-wide gender pay analysis, reviewing hiring and promotion processes and procedures to reduce unconscious bias and structural barriers, and promoting best practices that will close the pay gap to ensure fundamental equity for all workers. Should you have any additional concerns or ideas for improvement, please reach out to your Human Resources Business Partner confidentially. We value your feedback and input and thank you for all you do to keep our business thriving!

Just a depressing place to work

Pros

Solid place to learn about sales if you're just getting into the workforce like I was. Overtime pay that is consistently encouraged but almost never NOT approved.

Cons

Where do I start... They lie to you constantly. Unlimited PTO! unless its end of month, end of quarter, end of year. Oh but if you're friends with your manager you'll be fine. I was told I couldn't get PTO for end of the month yet another teammate who was performing just as well as me got 4 days off at the end of the month. Zero empathy for people going into office. First off you were told that it was going to be 1x / week going in but turned into 3 now its looking to be 4. They set it to a 30 mile radius but that screws over people that live in high traffic areas like myself who drive bare minimum 1hr to work. And we aren't getting compensated for parking in the building's garage (comes out to $120 per month btw). Like I said if you're friends w management they'll let things slide like a friend of mine who was the same distance away but wasn't pressured to go into office. CONSTANT micromanagement. They also hold you to metrics that are ultimately out of your control. "You need 10+ phone connections" tough to control someone else picking up their phone from a number they don't know lets be real. I can't speak for AE's and AM's but for the majority of SDRs the compensation and commission sucks. Inbound SDR's don't even get commission for closed deals. Outbound SDR's get a fraction of a fraction of closed deals and its taxed 50% so you barely see anything from your hard earned money. Daily morning and end of day meetings where you go over metrics from the day that the whole team can already see during the day...COMPLETE WASTES OF TIME. The only way you succeed is by putting in far more than 40hr weeks.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review here. We care tremendously about our employees' ability to thrive here and can assure you that no one got their job because “they’re friends with management”. They're here because they've got the grit, the attitude, the skills, and the smarts, and they add something to the culture we care about. They keep their job because they perform and are good team members to others. As you know our CEO, Henry, believes in the Return to Office, and we’ve had an RTO policy since the beginning of the year, while it has been mandatory since then, he has tried to give everyone time to adjust to a new normal. We have come to the point where he believes the benefits of the RTO policy outweigh the additional time for adjustment. We want to see you thrive and enjoy our culture, if you have additional thoughts on how we can become better, we would love to know by reaching out to your HR Business Partner. Thank you.

Pros

Providing Mac laptop with high configuration

Cons

I strongly advise against considering employment at ZoomInfo, particularly in their CX team. The CX team seems to be comprised of a significant number of unqualified individuals from the service-based industry, and their HR department is also lacking. It's evident that the HR director's responses are predetermined and fail to address employee concerns, ultimately leading to dissatisfaction. HR team's broken promises, an underqualified management team in India that inhibits career growth, and several specific issues The benefits are constrained for the Indian team. Night shift allowance is calculated on a daily basis, a practice more typical of lower-tier companies. Employee well-being doesn't appear to be a priority. I never saw a company who pays night shift allowance as daily basis. I am 100% sure call centre . For individuals seeking opportunities within the SaaS sector, I strongly recommend considering companies like others, companies but I strongly advise against considering ZoomInfo.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave a review of your experience at ZI. It’s unfortunate to hear that our culture was not a place you felt you could thrive. Our global leaders are fully committed to growing, mentoring and giving ownership to the ZI India team and they are spending their time and giving other necessary training. We are a company that values its employees and their career growth, evident by the launch of our new contract with LinkedIn Learning, where employees have the ability to set their career goals in the platform to get targeted courses for self-paced education. We also foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity and strongly believe that every employee is entitled to a work environment free of offensive conduct regardless of its form or manner. We have an anti-discrimination and harassment policy that we take very seriously. Also, our benefits consistently rank as top-notch and are reviewed regularly to compete with other Tech companies, especially after feedback received from our engagement surveys. Thanks again for your hard work here and best of luck in your next career adventure.
