Pros

If you get the right manager it's fine.

Cons

There's a monthly quota and if you miss for 3 months consecutively you're gone.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear this role can be a strong starting point for a career in tech sales. It’s been interesting to see the conversation around AI SDRs evolve over the past year. At ZoomInfo, we’ve never viewed AI as a replacement for SDRs. Instead, we’re proud to equip our teams with AI tools that support their day-to-day work, along with training to help them succeed in an AI-first workplace. We also appreciate your candor around performance expectations and the pressure that can come with them. Feedback like this helps us continue evaluating how we support development and create a sustainable experience for our teams. – Sean Dwyer, ZoomInfo VP of Sales Development

Pros

Nothing Zero Nothing Zero Nothing

Cons

Boiler room culture: All they care about is dial numbers. Not the quality of the calls. I've seen it first hand. Base pay/comp is terrible. I hit quota while I was here, but had to get a 2nd job nights to help pay my bills. ZERO work life balance. (They will deny this statement). Not one of the group I came in with is still there. We were all smart to leave, & are much better off.

We appreciate you sharing your perspective and are sorry your experience did not meet expectations. The SDR role does have defined working hours, with some overtime opportunities depending on business needs. It is also designed to be a strong foundation for building a sales career, and while call activity is an important part of the role, we also invest in coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities across multiple business disciplines. Our compensation is designed to be competitive within the industry, with opportunities to earn above base pay. We’re grateful for your time here and for your feedback. We take concerns about compensation, management support, and work-life balance seriously, and feedback like yours helps inform where we need to improve. – Sean Dwyer, ZoomInfo VP of Sales Development
