Pros

The people are very friendly with a stereotypical Midwestern warmth. The culture is very collobarative and people work together to solve problems. Morale is generally high. The compensation and benefits are good for this part of the country.

Cons

There are very high expectations of employees at Zimmer and some people fail to live up to them. The rural location is not for everyone and the town is conservative.

Good salary, great products, hands off management style, relaxed environment, good work-life balance, nice people.

Cons

Little direction from management, too much focus on the bottom line, poor communication with international markets, lip service paid to employee engagement, little investment in training outside sales, little to no promotion opportunities (nearly all management is recruited from outside, at least in international markets).

Benefits Bonus Defined system for medical devices already in place.

Cons

There seemed to be no vision for the Biologics side. There wasn't a clear pipeline and large turnover, both voluntarily and involuntarily. Management are not effective leaders.
