Pros

Management roles pay VERY well - probably the best in retail. The relationships you build with your co-workers get you through the day. Fast-paced so your day flies by. Promotions happen from within and talent gets recognized early on for quick development.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations from corporate - constantly receive mixed messages from your regionals. Each department head expects a different result from your work and it's impossible to leave at the end of the day feeling satisfied about what you did that day because you know you disappointed at least one person by not achieving what they expected of you. Never ending shipment delays! Constantly have to change schedule to accommodate shipment not arriving when it's supposed to. You are guilted into coming into work even if you're sick. You feel pressure to stay later than you are scheduled. The only reason I'm still here is for the pay but I'm actively looking for a new job. Oh, and the store music is horrible. I want to like this company and this job so badly, but I just can't anymore.

Pros

the only pro i found is the experience if you want to get into retail

Cons

- You wont get many shifts, when i was hired i found out so many people had left before me and now i know why - The manager acts all nice but really you can tell they are so fake, they promise they will give you more tasks and even give you experience in different areas of the store but IT WONT HAPPEN! - I asked for more shifts as i was only getting three hours a week, how can anyone live off that, and nope i didn't get anymore shifts - We were give tasks for each shift and ever since getting the job (for 6 months) the only tasks i got was fitting rooms and tidying... how am i meant to learn new skills when they never taught me cash registers (even though they said they would) . - You dont get discounts

Pros

Definitely no pros working here

Cons

As a new employee, no training was given at all so the workload was very overwhelming. The other workers were not understanding and would often get mad that you weren't doing the job right, which was quite ridiculous considering you hadn't been trained at ALL. The company does NOT value customer service, and the manager is rude to both customers and employees. The employees were also very unprofessional, as some were trying on clothes in the middle of their shifts and putting it aside for them to later purchase. Very disappointed in this work environment. They pay is also minimal and no discounts were given. By the third shift I already wanted to quit.
